(Qaaf) 50 : 27
قَالَ قَرِينُهُ رَبَّنَا مَا أَطْغَيْتُهُ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ
His Jinn soulmate will say: Our Lord! I had never made him aimless, but he was in far astray.
Just like Satan will be saying after the trial on the Day of Judgement as ‘I had no any authority upon you’ as told in verse 18: 22, the Jinn soulmate of the disbeliever will also say on the day of Judgement as ‘Our Lord! I hadn’t made him aimless astray compulsorily’, instead he had the responsibility of transforming me to believer, but without doing it, he was living in the world in far astray deviated from the Guidance Adhikr’. See explanation 25: 33-34; 34: 19-20; and 48: 6.
