(Qaaf) 50 : 27
قَالَ قَرِينُهُ رَبَّنَا مَا أَطْغَيْتُهُ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ
His Jinn soulmate will say: "Our Lord! I had never made him aimless, but he was far astray."
Just like Satan will be saying after the Trial on the Day of Judgment, "I had no authority upon you," as told in verse 18: 22, the Jinn soulmate of the disbeliever will also say on the Day of Judgment: "Our Lord! I hadn’t made him aimless astray compulsorily; instead, he had the responsibility of transforming me into a believer, but without doing it, he was living in the world far astray, deviated from the Guidance Adhikr."
